Hollywoodin suuret elokuvastudiot ovat yhdistäneet voimansa oman suoratoistopalvelun luomiseksi. Uuden palvelun ajatuksena on yhdistää eri verkkokaupoista hankitut elokuvat yhteen paikkaan, jolloin kuluttajat ei tarvitse pohtia millä sovelluksella tai laitteella hänen pitäisi tiettyä elokuvaa katsella.

"Eligibility. Only legal residents of the United States, all U.S. territories, and the U.S. associated states of the Federated States of Micronesia and Palau (collectively, the "Territory") are eligible to register for a Movies Anywhere account, provided that the Movies Anywhere Service is subject to availability of Digital Retailers and Movies Anywhere Content in the Territory. The Movies Anywhere Service is provided to individuals for their personal, noncommercial use only. Companies, associations and other groups may not register for a Movies Anywhere account or use the Movies Anywhere Service. Individuals under the age of 13 are not eligible for a Movies Anywhere account."
