When I click my IE icon (either the shortcut or the main icon in program files), it sometimes starts, and sometimes doesn't start.

The "launching/not launching" problem doesn't have a starting pattern. When I click 10 times (waiting each time for the window to open) I may get 10 new IE windows, or may get 4, or may get even no windows at all (but no more then 10 windows, thanks god...). In other words, when I click the IE icon, it is not for sure that I am going to have a new window at the desktop.

When I check the Windows Task Manager, in applications tab, it only shows the launced IE windows but in processes tab it also shows IEXPLORE.EXE which doesn't start (or appear). And when I turn off the computer with an empty applications tab, it asks to end the other IE windows which are not at the desktop but running somehow somewhere.

And this problem was there all the time: Before firefox and after firefox. Restarting windows doesn't help. Repairing IE doesn't help. Renewing the shortcut doesn't help. Making IE the default browser from Control Panel doesn't help. I really don't know what to do... I just want IE to open a new window eachtime I click it... Please help me.

found out why...
I've found out why that was like that (after starting in the safe mode).
It was because of McAfee Privacy Service. When I turn the service off, everything is ok for IE.
Also it was not logging into this forum with firefox, when this service was enabled. Everything is ok now.
But why is McAfee Privacy Service doing so? The service is about leting the administrator access to the Internet and managing cookies.
I though that was useful, but it is doing things weird such as blocking IE to appear.
Should I let all the cookies or should I keep the service turned off to have IE work properly?
